August 2006- 192 youths attend Free Teens AIDS prevention Seminar in Kitwe

Zambia
192 youths from various schools and colleges attended a Free Teens HIV/AIDS prevention seminar in Kitwe, Zambia on August 19-20, 2006. The program began with entertainment including songs about HIV/AIDS from several musical groups and choirs and performances by a number of youth drama groups.

After these well-received performances, Rev. Gregory Nyendwa gave part of the Relationship Intelligence powerpoint presentation which discusses six priceless gifts that each human being is born with: health, intelligence, relationships, conscience, will power, and sexuality. He also showed videos of Free Teens education and youth activities in the U.S., which caused much excitement.

After lunch, representatives of the Wusakili Mine Hospital answered questions about AIDS and other sexually transmitted diseases from the young people. The following day was devoted to sports activities with final words of guidance to youth from Rev. Nyendwa.
