Mommy, Daddy, Where Do Babies Come From?

Authors, Grace Ayad and Richard Panzer, and illustrator, Benny Andersson, have created a book that promotes the highest ideals of family life.
"This is a better way to do it!"
"The way you should start."
"Frames a more important truth."
"A good book!"

Dr. Laura Schlessinger, author and talkshow host.

"A precious way to tell a youngster
about babies and how they come."

Janet Parshall, talkshow host.

We live in an age of confusion, especially when it comes to questions of love, marriage and family life. The problems of teenage pregnancy and AIDS add to parents' worries. Much of the Mass Media seems indifferent to the values that most parents want to teach their children. To help parents get their youngsters started off on the right foot, a new book, Mommy, Daddy, Where Do Babies Come From?, comes like a breath of fresh air. The book is written for children ages five to eight with substantial text and colorful illustrations. It does not contain any graphic descriptions of how babies are made, but focuses instead on the meaning of love in the family.

Mommy, Daddy, Where Do Babies Come From? uses a conversation between Jenny and her parents as the means to convey these important ideals. The text gives parents good jumpingoff points for important discussions in many areas of family life. Jenny's parents use their own family and simple examples to convey to Jenny the meaning and value of true love within the family. Jenny and her parents discuss happiness, grandparents, weddings, marriage, pregnancy, and the dangers involved in the misuse of love. This is all done with simple language and colorful pictures that will help keep children's interest.

Authors, Grace Ayad and Richard Panzer, and illustrator, Benny Andersson, have created a book that promotes the highest ideals of family life and should help many parents and children to discuss and work towards them. As they suggest in the forward, "Help him or her (your child) to see that being popular isn't as important as being a person of character who will find happiness and success in the long run." The truth contained here is important for all of us, parents and children alike.
